Overview of the Project

Our Track and Trace solution integrates advanced technology to provide end-to-end visibility and control over LPG cylinder movements. From manufacturing and distribution to usage and return, our system ensures every cylinder is accounted for and monitored in real-time. This comprehensive approach empowers stakeholders, including manufacturers, distributors, and end-users, to manage cylinders more effectively.

Key Features

QR Code Integration: Each LPG cylinder is affixed with a durable, stainless steel QR tag using an innovative clinching technique. The QR tags are positioned inside the stayplate for enhanced protection.

360-Degree QR Scanning: Our state-of-the-art equipment, "Touch Points," features three QR readers enclosed in flame-proof housings. These readers are strategically positioned to ensure seamless scanning from any angle.

Real-Time Data Transmission: All scanned data is relayed to a central server located in a control room, enabling real-time monitoring and reporting.

Safety-Compliant Design: The equipment and its components are assembled in PESO-approved enclosures, ensuring safe operation in Zone 1 hazardous environments.

PLC-Controlled Operations: The system is powered by Siemens S7-1200 PLCs, ensuring precise control and reliability throughout the process.


QR Affixing Process

The QR affixing process is a critical component of our Track and Trace system, designed to ensure durability, accuracy, and ease of tracking. The process involves:

Preparation of QR Tags:
QR tags are made from high-grade stainless steel to ensure longevity and resistance to environmental factors.
Each tag is laser-etched with a unique QR code for identification and tracking.
Automatic Loading of QR Tags:
Stainless steel QR tags are automatically loaded into the clinching equipment using a specially designed feeding mechanism.
This automation ensures consistent alignment and placement, reducing manual intervention and errors.
Clinching Technology:
QR tags are affixed inside the stayplate of LPG cylinders using a clinching process. This innovative method involves:
Precisely aligning the tag with the designated area inside the stayplate.
Using specialized clinching equipment to secure the tag without the need for adhesives or welding.
Ensuring a tamper-proof and robust attachment that withstands harsh conditions.
Integration with Tracking System:
Once affixed, the QR tags are scanned and linked to the cylinder’s unique identification data in the central database.
This step ensures that each cylinder is trackable throughout its lifecycle.
